Sergey was an integral part of our team at EngagedMD, joining us as our first designer. During his tenure, he played a crucial role in a major redesign of our platform, contributing from the initial ideation phase through to the launch. This project was pivotal in enhancing our efforts to automate patient education and administration, aligning with our mission to save medical practices time and improve patient care.

Sergey is one of the best product designers I have had the privilege of working with. He is a champion of the customer and always pushed our product team to prioritize the user experience. The first thing that you learn about Sergey is that he is extremely flexible. He is extremely tolerant of uncertainty and loose requirements. He is able to look outside-the-box to come up with creative solutions to problems. This makes him really ideal at juggling work and going with the flow of an ever-changing work landscape. If Sergey is empowered to have freedom from rigid structure and free to express himself, he is in his element and set up for rockstar-level success. He also adapts well to the rigid structure and limitations that is common in a bulk of our healthcare projects.

Sergey is very persuasive. He has a social demeanor that is outgoing, and he is not afraid to be heard or proactively engage to help out with a problem. He really gets along well in a group, but really thrives in building close 1:1 personal relationships with team members. This is how he is able to successfully influence change, lead projects and improve products.

Teamwork is important to Sergey, but he really is able to thrive in an independent contributor position as well. He is a steady, positive force for quality deliverables and high value experience consultation.

Sergey is one of those rare human beings that is calm yet swift. He brings an admirable level of sophistication to everything he touches. Sergey is not only a fast thinker but a calculated one. His design of UX is intuitive yet pushes the boundaries of existing patterns. I had the fortunate experience to work with him across many projects over the course of half a decade. Sergey was always patient with me challenging his thinking and working collaboratively to push ideas further, larger, and beyond the client's expectations. He leads his teams with grace and kindness. Also, have to note that Sergey has the most wicked sense of dry humor. Always fun to work or hang out with him. You'd be lucky to have him on your side!

Sergey in one word is concise. Sergey in two words is bad ass. Having worked with and under Sergey for the past two years, I can say with all confidence that Sergey is the best of the best in digital design. It is rare that you come across someone, who after their departure, leaves a lasting impact and irreplaceable void in the office. It is even more rare to find a UX designer who can be client-facing, code, conduct research, and understand all things visual design. Sergey is that unicorn. I look forward to working with Sergey again in any capacity that is presented!

I have had the distinct pleasure of watching Sergey evolve from an individual contributor to a department director and leader within the agency. He did so with poise and introspection, drawing from his passion when necessary, and being wise and humble enough to recognize the gaps he needed to grow into. In both roles he maintained his unique vision that leads to great customer and user experience, while never ebbing his drive to deliver the best, his refusal to compromise high standards for the convenience of a date or dollar. Opportunity calls, so we are sad to lose him; I believe the highest form if recommendation is in the simple statement, that I look forward to when I work and collaborate with him again.

Having collaborated with many user experience designers on a wide variety of projects, there are few people I've worked with who bring the same passion, attention to detail, and talent to the table as Sergey. He's an extremely dedicated worker who not only expects the best of himself, but will motivate a team to push boundaries and develop the best product possible.

Always up to date on the latest interactive design and UX trends, it's rare that Sergey does not have a solution to a given problem (and if he doesn't, he's certainly quick to find one). His background in interactive design shows through in the visually-stunning wireframes he builds, and his knowledge of front-end design is apparent every time he explains how and why a given solution will or will not work.

I've learned a lot from Sergey over the past several years, and it's been an absolute pleasure working with him.

There have been very few people whom I've worked with at past jobs throughout my career that I would actively try to work with again, and Sergey is definitely at the top of my list.

Sergey and I worked together at RTC/Wunderman on a variety of UX design and development projects, and he was consistently organized, solutions-oriented, collaborative, innovative, and last but not least -- great to work with. He uses a firm understanding of the primary business goals to drive his decisions and recommendations about implementation, even in cases where a change in direction is necessary.
